Heating Control Grants
Are you eligible for one of our free heating control upgrade grants?
- You, your tenant, or someone living in your home are in receipt of an income-related benefit?
- You have a boiler and radiator system
- You do not live in social housing
If you answer “YES” to all of the above, you could be eligible for one of our heating control grants to replace upgrade your existing heating controls free of charge. Grants are available for all privately rented or privately owned homes across Great Britain including park homes.
- Free digital timer to ensure your heating system only fires when you need it to
- Free room thermostat to ensure that the heating system shuts down when the house is at the correct temperature
- Free thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) to help you regulate the heat of each room
- We may also be able to upgrade your boiler free of charge too!
Grants are available even if you have some of the above controls already, we will install any of the above controls that you don’t currently have.
All grants are subject to survey, limited funding, terms and conditions. In some cases, the grants are not enough to make the works completely free and a contribution may be required but this will be confirmed after the free survey.

Do I Qualify for a Free Energy Grant?
If you are in receipt of a Tax Credit or Universal Credit, your grant eligibility will be subject to a maximum income amount which is based on how many adults and children live in your home. Please contact us to find out more or see the tables below.

If your home needs loft and cavity insulation we may also be able to offer this either free or at a reduced rate.
