what is a Free Loft Insulation Grant?

How does it work? Loft insulation arrives in rolls and laid professionally by our expert loft insulation fitters. Rolls of mineral fibre rest between your roof joists. Extra layers sit over the top of the joist beams in your loft roof space.
Most lofts benefit from top-up loft insulation. Thicker layers of mineral fibre capture heat previously lost into the roof space. Use the correct number of layers to stops draughts from getting in. The government advice is that insulation in all parts of your roof space should be 100mm or more.

Do I Qualify for a Free Energy Grant?
If you are in receipt of a Tax Credit or Universal Credit, your grant eligibility will be subject to a maximum income amount which is based on how many adults and children live in your home. Please contact us to find out more or see the tables below.

If your home needs loft and cavity insulation we may also be able to offer this either free or at a reduced rate.
Subject to survey, limited funding, terms and conditions. In some cases, the boiler grants are not enough to make the works completely free and a contribution may be required.
